“ I’ve tried various forms of exercise over the years, but nothing truly stuck until I found Pilates with Jen over 8 years ago. From the very beginning, Jen has known my body inside and out. She’s able to tell exactly when to push me and, more importantly, when I’m overcompensating and need a correction. Her attention to detail and expertise have been invaluable. Jen’s encouragement is constant, and she celebrates my successes right along with me. Throughout our sessions, she stays fully invested, making sure every movement is done correctly. Her commitment to my progress is unmatched. I couldn’t ask for a better instructor.”

I’m an 82-year young man and have worked with a number of trainers for many years. The past 5 years I’ve been training (Pilates) with Jenn Welsh. Jenn continues to keep me in excellent condition, not only for my age, but for all the activities I engage in. She always manages to mix up the exercises so that I’m able to maintain excellent flexibility & maximum strength. I can’t say enough good about her. I only have one complaint; my sessions seem to be over too quickly.

I've had Jen as my pilates instructor for the past 3 years and I highly recommend her. She is primarily responsible for the dramatic change in my figure! She is an excellent teacher. Her class is never boring, Jen is very creative and is always introducing new techniques. Not only does this keep the class interesting but I feel continually challenged. Jen is always focused on my technique and corrects me when necessary. She always pushes me to do more!

Jen Walsh has been my Pilates teacher for two years now. Jen is an excellent instructor. Her knowledge of Pilates is very evident during each and every session. Her verbal cues, as well as her demonstrations are very helpful in executing the movements correctly. She always has great energy during class and encourages her students to push through to the next level. Jen always makes each session unique. She has taught me so much about Pilates; I always look forward to class because I know it will be a challenge.

I have known Jen Walsh for years. She has been my Pilates instructor in class, semi-private and more recently private lesson settings. I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and Jen has been able to customize my workouts when needed. Jen has always been extremely professional and clearly cares about her clients needs. On a more personal note she is delightful to work with, always upbeat and genuinely and so sweet. I give her my highest recommendation.

I have been fortunate to be a private client of Jen’s since she started at the Body n Sync studio in Port Washington back in 2005. Jen works with me once a week and we never do the same thing twice. It amazes me how after doing Pilates for 12 years, that there is always something new to learn. Jen’s sessions are based on a balance between what I can do and how I can do it better. I always feel that my sessions with Jen are individual and personal, based on what she knows about my strengths and weaknesses. Jen is a reliable and knowledgeable Pilates instructor, who makes every session fun. I recommend her with confidence.

Jennifer Walsh has been my Pilates teacher for the past six years. I recommend her without hesitation. In fact, I would adopt her if I could. How she manages to keep a class that I attend twice a week so interesting and different each time, I cannot fathom. She understands how to make seemingly small changes to routines and make us use entirely new muscle groups. She is talented – funny yet professional. Each of us know that she is watching to make sure that we are positioned correctly, so even though it is a group class, we know we have her attention.Although it seems as though I work against all the good she does for me, I know that this 60-year-old body is MUCH stronger than it used to be. You can’t go wrong with Jennifer.
